i made portraits of three famous swedes; ingmar bergman, astrid lindgren & august strindberg, for the let's fika exhibition. 
if you visit fika bar & kitchen before oct 14th you have the chance to see my illustrations along with the works of five other very 
talented illustrators - karin söderquist, åsa wikman, martin wollerstam, hanna melin and emma löfström.

every first thursday of the month there are private views/exhibitions on at various locations around the 
shoreditch/hackney area. my friends and i went to a few yesterday, these are my two favorite pieces that
were exhibited. unfortunately i couldn't find any information on the artists.

jordi ruiz cirera

jordi ruiz cirera is a london based photographer originally from barcelona. in 2011 he spent some time in 
bolivia documenting the lives of mennonites, a group of people that arrived in south america during the 1950s 
to practice the anabaptist fatih. you can see more of jordi's work on his website and read more about his interesting 
photographic projects on his blog.

midsummer at fika

i spent midsummer with some friends at Fika. we had some traditional food such as pickled herring and 
potatoes, and a very delicious strawberry coctail! i also posted these pics on Fika's blog.
